The name of this mosque were taken from the word "the" greatness meaningful, "copyright", which means built, and "taste" which means to use. Besides known by the name of Sang Cipta Rasa Great Mosque, the mosque is also known by the name of the Great Mosque Great Mosque Kasepuhan and Cirebon.
