Pelabuhan Ratu Coast was located in the Pelabuhan Ratu Sub District, Sukabumi District, West Java Province, Indonesia. Pelabuhan Ratu, so the name of the coast that was located approximately 60 km the south direction of the Sukabumi City. This coast was one of the pride tourist attractions Regional Government of Sukabumi, West Java. This tourist attraction was famous enough owing to the nature panorama that was beautiful, the air that was cool, and the sand carpet that was wide.
 
Beside beauty of the nature, the Pelabuhan Ratu Coast was also famous with the sea party that is sweeping the buffalo head to the water and the other ritual offering to the middle of sea away. The local fishermen held this tradition on April 5 every year. This tradition was the feeling expression thank heavens to the Lord on the gift that was given took the form of the fish catch. The party agenda of this sea is usually accompanied also with various activities like the social service, races, and the staging of entertainment (the puppet, music, the marching band, the dance, et cetera). This tradition took place for 2 days one night.

The attraction of the Pelabuhan Ratu Coast wave of the sea condition was appropriate enough when being used for sport surfing, because the height of the wave was stable enough. With the condition for water like that, then in this coast gotten several places surfing that was often visited by tourists, that is the Guram Stone, Karang Sari, Cimaja, Karang Haji, Indicator, Sunset Beach, Ombak Tujuh, and the Ujung Genteng. Several places surfing this busy was visited by the tourists to be precise in May till October, when the condition for the wave was high.

Apart from agreeing as the surfing place, Pelabuhan Ratu Coast also served beauty of nature took the form of coral stones that projected to sea. On this coral stone, tourists could sit while fishing or just saw seawater splash that attacked the stone that was similar with pearls grain. From on top of the coral stone, tourists could also see the fisherman's ships that were looking for the appearance fish from the distance.

After satisfied to follow beauty of the Pelabuhan Ratu Coast, tourists could try mystique aura that was received in the Samudera Beach Hotel that was around 300 metres from this coast. In the hotel was gotten the mystique story about the existence of the room no. 13 that it seems became the stopover of South Sea Queen, “Nyai Roro Kidul”. This room was often made the meditating place asked for heart peace and the blessing in living. In the room, tourists might also carry out meditation or just looked around the atmosphere of the room that was sanctified. In the Pelabuhan Ratu Coastal tourist attraction region, there is also a famous ritual existence yearly that was held by the local community, that is holy bathed ritual or Ngabungbang. Said ngabungbang came from “Nga” that was significant ngahijikan (united) and “bungbang” that means throw away or cleaned. This ritual meant holy bathe to eliminate bad elements. Moreover, this ritual also meant requesting the Lord's forgiveness, asked for the strength in order to be reached all the goals, as well as expected the increase in the quality of the life to be full of prosperity. This annual tradition was held in the night (began to strike 24,00 WIB) during the date full moon 14 in the Maulud month, and was located in the estuary of the Cisukawayana River, Pelabuhan Ratu Coast. According to the acknowledgment of the local community, this initially tradition was created by King Hyang Brahma from the Medang Gali Kingdom in the year of 175—205 M. Ritual this afterwards was continued by Prabu Siliwangi from the Padjadjaran Kingdom and develops to now.

To visit to the Pelabuhan Ratu Coast, the trip could use public transport (the bus) from the Bogor Terminal. From this terminal, tourists raised the route bus Bogor - Sukabumi. After arriving in the Sukabumi Terminal, raising the route bus of Sukabumi - Pelabuhan Ratu and descending in the location.

Facilities that were been in this coastal tourist attraction including the prayer room, the area parked areas, the child's playground, the relaxing place, and several stalls ate that sold various food sorts and drink. Moreover, there were also clothes kiosks, the souvenir, and the typical Sukabumi present. For tourists who needed accommodation facilities, there’s various hotel in this tour region. Other supporting facilities were the restaurant, the guard of the security (SAR), and the map of tour information.
