Leuser Mountain National Park or TNGL was in the border of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam with North Sumatra, Sumatra Island, Indonesia. In Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam, Leuser Mountain National Park was in the Regency Aceh Singkil, South Aceh, South East Aceh, and Gayo Luwes, and in North Sumatra was in the Langkat Regency.

Leuser Mountain National Park or TNGL was the nature panorama and the “lungs” of the world that was maintained by the Indonesian Government as the national nature reserve since 1980 and was maintained as the world inheritance (the Biosfir Guarantee) by UNESCO during 2004. The forest of Leuser Mountain is very luxuriant, the coastal forest and the tropics rainforest typical. Inside Leuser Mountain area was gotten several rivers, the lake, the source of hot water, the valley, and the waterfall.
 
The nature ecosystem was very beautiful and heterogeneous that covered the plain (the coast) through to mountain. Gotten heterogeneous the endangered species that was protected, like the Forest Cat, Sumatra Tiger, Rangkong, Simpanse, Siamang, Snake, Butterfly, Birds, Sumatra Elephant, Sumatran Rhinoceros, Forest Goat, and Deer Snatched. Moreover, was gotten the strangler's plants (ara) and other rare plants, like the Giant's Flower “Rhizanthes Zippelnii” that have diameter 1,5 meters, Raflesia Flower, and the Leaves of the Giant's Umbrella.

There were six main locations of the tour in the Leuser Mountain National Park, that is Bohorok or the Lawang Hill that was known as the Simpanse conservation area; Kluet that was famous with the Cave Tour and the Kayak Tour in the lake and the river; the Leuser Mountain that was often used for the location of the tour of mountain climbing adventure; Alas River that was often used as the location of the rafting; Secondary that was often made the place of the camp, carried out observation of the fauna and the Cave Tour; and Gurah, as the location to enjoy the very beautiful nature panorama with  heterogeneous unique plants and rare, at the same time the place of observation various rare animals that was protected.

To reach the location of the tour, the tourist could go through the Medan route, North Sumatra headed Kutacane, South East Aceh (that be at a distance approximately 240 km) with time followed approximately eight hours with car. Then from Kutacane to head the location of the Gurah or Ketambe tour needed time around 30 minutes by car with the distance of the trip to the best of approximately 35 km. If the tourist wanted to head the location of the Bohorok tour or the Lawang Hill, was easier to be followed through Medan that is at a distance approximately 60 km with the car around 1 hour. Likewise if the visitor wanted to head the location of the Sei Betung tour was more easy to be followed from Medan by car around 2 hours with the distance approximately 150 km. If the tourist wanted to head the Leuser Mountain National Park Region in Tapaktuan, South Aceh Capital could be also followed from Medan around 10 trip hours by car with the distance approximately 260 km.
