Singkarak LakeSingkarak Lake was located in two regencies that are the Tanah Datar Regency and the Solok Regency,
West Sumatra Province, Indonesia. The Singkarak Lake was the upstream from the Stick (the river) Ombilin and the Anai Stick. Water to the Anai Stick was channeled beyond the tunnel that penetrated the Barisan Hill and was used to move the PLTA Singkarak generator that was near Lubuk Alung.
Widely 107.8 km² this lake was the second expanded lake in
Sumatra Island after the
